Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Seaton: Page 3, line 20: Delete "salmon, herring, or Pacific cod" Insert "fish legally harvested and retained in salmon, herring, or Pacific cod fisheries" Representative Seaton moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Weyhrauch objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. 2003-03-26 House Journal Page 0647 Amendment No. 2 was not offered. Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 118(RES) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading, and placed on final passage. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 118(RES) am was read the third time. Representatives Ogg and Seaton moved and asked unanimous consent that they be allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and the members were required to vote. The question being: "Shall CSHB 118(RES) am pass the House?" Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 118(RES) am was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
